Over the past 19 years I have been excited and honoured to help people restore wellness and harmony in their body through customized, hands on, massage therapy paired with targeted therapeutic exercises. Modalities like Swedish Relaxation, sports, Myofascial Release, Petrisage, Muscle Tendon Attachment Release (MTAR), Active release therapy (ART), Trigger Point Therapy, Kinesiology Tape, Home Care Stretches and strengthening exercises.
Sprains, strains, other injuries: Standard tissue repair time is around 10-12 days.
Things that change healing time: •Genetics ie anatomy, autoimmune factors.
•Re-injury before, “passing go and collecting 200”, time has passed.
•Chemical ie hormones, exposure to irritants through diet, lungs, skin or increasing inflammation.
•Sleep! Tissue repair happens during sleep.
•Emotional trauma associated with the area.
